The Challenge

Villaggi Costa Rica is an Italian-built beach community in Guanacaste Province. For over 32 years, they've developed more than 600 homes for over 2,000 families. Their properties start at $200,000 and attract American and Canadian retirees looking for a mix of residence and rental income.

After decades of word-of-mouth growth, Villaggi decided to open their doors to the American market through paid advertising. They needed a system that could handle the volume.

The Core Problem

  • Escape Winter / Pain: "How many more winters?" Visceral imagery of cold weather and heating bills contrasted with 77-degree Costa Rican mornings.
  • Social Proof / Regret: "Same age. Same savings. Different life." Peer comparison designed to trigger action.

Each angle spoke to a different emotional driver. We tracked performance by cost per lead, click-through rate, and qualification rate to identify the winner.
